Women's Prison Ministry
Every Thursday morning a team of ladies go to visit Christian women in the jail in Isa Town . They have a time of prayer, a study from the Bible, usually in the prisoners own language and a time of fellowship. Many prisoners find this caring touch a life-line in an otherwise isolated existence. Non English speakers are essential and always in short supply as most of the ladies in prison do not speak English as their first language. If you can speak another language we need you!
Description: Spend time praying, reading scripture and getting to know women in prison.
Skills Needed: an encouraging heart and a willingness to engage in conversation
10am Thursday mornings according to a roster but usually once a month.
Monday training for the weeks you are rostered on.
First Monday of each month for prayer and praise meeting with everyone involved in the ministry.
Activities we need a coordinator and/or volunteers for!
If you have a particular interest in one of these activities, we are looking for someone to coordinate or be involved!
