Pastor
Denny Barger
|
An ordained minister since 1991, Pastor Denny Barger (seen here with his wife Susan) holds a BS in Social Work from Alvernia College in Reading and an MA in Religion from The Evangelical School of Theology in Myerstown. The Bargers are American but lived in Cairo from 1982-1987 where Denny worked in the Mukkattam garbage collectors slum. They returned to the States in order for Denny to earn his Masters Degree. While studying for his MA Denny started Calvary Chapel of Southern Ocean County New Jersey. While founding the church he worked bi-vocationally as a therapist with homeless and drug addicted military veterans.
Susan Barger is a teacher in The Ibn Khuldoon National School. The Barger’s have six children & five lovely granddaughters. Their youngest daughter Ellen is here with them in Bahrain. Email pastor@saarfellowship.com Phone 17400246/39935354 |

Sally Visser
Sally Visser has lived in Bahrain for many, many years with her husband Andre. Their three children were bought up here and have now flown the nest. Sally takes care of all the administrative details of the church plus runs the women's ministry.

David Webb

David Webb is a teacher from Canada who has been living in Bahrain with his wife and 3 young children since 2004.

David Laskey
|
David Laskey hails from New Zealand and is a long term resident of Bahrain. He is currently studying towards his masters in theology while Brenda, his wife, will be studying linguistics in Australia during 2013.

Stan Stearns
|
Stan Stearns is American and lives here with his wife Lindy. He has three grown up children in USA. Stan leads a Bible Study on Friday mornings at 9am, just before the church service. The group meets upstairs at St. Christopher's so it is very convenient to attend.
